Episode 573 – The phoenix rises

Finally! After 3 attempts, we got an episode out!
Sometime in the last 6 weeks, Glynn decided to try out some new social media platforms, including foto (for photo sharing)  and Blue Sky (as a twitter/x replacement).
He’s also been keeping an eye on CP+, the last great photo tradeshow.
Interestingly, the most interesting cameras coming out are made by lens manufacturers!
TT Artisans Camera and Sigma being 2 of them.
Like Tamron, Sigma has announced it will no longer make DSLR lenses.

And Philip Johnson sent me a youtube link to an interesting documentary on Newcastle photographer, Ralph Snowball.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
