Episode 447 – Big praise from Glynn
This week, I’ve been out shooting… twice!

Monday morning saw me out at Catherine Hill Bay with the always-reliable, always-easy-to-work-with, Teigan Clarke.
Of what we shot, I shared these 3 images with Glynn. The last one, he felt needed a tighter crop. YMMV.

Then, on Wednesday, I was asked to shoot a couple of portraits of ABC presenter, Jill Emberson, for an upcoming feature on Australian Story.
These were shot in Jill’s home, and have received much praise, both from the producers of Australian Story, and from Glynn.
CASA has decided to delay the roll-out of the forthcoming drone registration requirements in Australia until later in the year.
Sony drops the latest iteration in their pocket-sized monster, the RX100 mk vii.
Carl found this story which combines his two favourite hobbies…. bicycles and photography.
Adam shared a follow-up to the Amazon Prime Day pricing SNAFU, which saw one lucky photographer wind up with over $10k worth of gear for a measly $500!
He also sent us the winners of the 2019 iphoneography awards.
And a story which sounds like deja vu…. Canon is still hemorrhaging, with net profit down 64% for the year.
Glynn saw that Topaz Studio 2 is currently on special, and should be under consideration if you’re looking to get away from Adobe’s subscription model.
Want to hear the difference in shutter sounds between different makes and models of camera? Of COURSE you do!
Following in the tradition of the blue-black/white-gold dress comes this conundrum… is this image black and white, or colour?
As you’ve heard, this will be our last podcast for at least 4 weeks, with me off to Sri Lanka, and Glynn off to Tanzania.
Can’t say for sure, but there’s half a chance that the next episode will be travel photography-related. 🙂
