Episode 431 – The Dallman Workflow

This week, yes, the site looks like crap. But at least it’s back online!
I’ll fix the look next week.
In this episode, I found this story about the incredible way in which the ice of frozen Lake Michigan fractured.

The ABC ran a story this week about the likelihood of Australian drone operators soon needing licenses to fly.

Rakesh sent us this story from fstoppers about the re-emergence of lens cap photography.

Carl - basketballCarl wrote in and shared this image he shot of his son playing basketball.
Great shot, Carl!

Glynn found stories on the Sony A8s,
the left-handed Nikon,
the VRR Headset, with 16K resolution,
and the SD Card-sized Printer.
Obviously, those should all be taken with a grain of salt, and a good hard look at the calendar.
In serious news, Adobe has announced this week that the next version of After Effects will get content-aware fill.
And if you need some funky new filters… Try these!

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
