Episode 424 – Heatwave = short podcast

This week, I liked this portfolio of doctored-Kendall-Jenner images.

Adam sent us this story about human faces made entirely by AI.

David Putzier wrote back to us, as did a few other listeners.

We chat about my new 70-200/f4 lens and the need (or lack thereof) for a vertical grip.

And Glynn was impressed (as was I) with the footage which happened to catch a meteor impacting with the moon.

Plus heaps more!

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

Enjoyable show as always. What is the make and model of the 70–200 f/4 lens you were talking about. I couldn’t remember from the last show. Thanks.

Excellent episode. Its 27 minute brevity gave me the chance to catch up on 33 minutes of staring blankly out the window – a real bonus. Many thanks.

Putzier here…again. Well, I actually listen to WAY more than just 10 podcasts a week. You see, I am alone and unloved, which gives me lots of free time to take in podcasts of all types. Like when I am driving to and from work alone, all day long alone at work, sitting alone at home in my office working at the computer, laying in bed alone as I drift off to sleep,…..Hmmmm…. getting a bit depressed now. Thanks a lot for making me dredge that up. Seriously though, I have podcasts playing multiple hours a day. There is some great stuff out there. Oh and to answer Glenn’s question, these days I shoot mostly Models and Bands, but am into most types of photography except sports and wildlife. Well….hear ya later!
