Shutters Inc – episode 116

Yep, 2 weeks in a row!
This week, Shelton answers a couple of very old e-mails regarding off-camera flash,
Robert Iverson asked about printing an entire folder of images,
Bruce asks for clarification on Shelton’s “pocket sunshine” technique,
plus the state of play with sensor size and density.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

Two weeks in a row? Could this be a sign of the coming apocalypse? 😉

Hello Bruce and Shelton — I think i sent you an e-mail earlier this week to let Shelton know that (as he assumed) the Canon flash system also supports high-speed sync, and can be used for taking “flash as main ambient as fill” outdoor portraits. While these are not portraits, I put together a sample set for you to look at demonstrating how this works. Here is the link:

What a great surprise to hear you today. After syncing my iPod as usual, I decided to listen to one of your old podcasts. When I saw the date 2/16/09 appear I couldn’t believe it. The two best photography podcast host back again. You are informative while bringing some humor to the topics. Thanks for what you do to make my drive time go by quicker.
