I stumbled upon the Strobist site last year and it has changed the way I look at light. I have always been a “natural light” shooter (mainly sports and landscapes), but the Strobist site along with the book they recommend, “Light – Science and Magic” has really opened my eyes to really looking at all of light’s attributes and helped me to just “see” better. If I was limited to just one internet site, Strobist would be my choice – sorry Shelton.
Keep up the great work. And if you are looking for a list of photography/lightroom/photoshop resources, check out my site: http://www.protopage.com/mblyons
Thanks for the DIY sites. I briefly looked them over and can’t wait to dig in deeper. Also, I wanted to share a macro I did by reversing my lens. It’s a great effect, but takes some practice. Here’s the link: http://threesisters.net/photo_blog/2007/08/06/on-closer-inspection/
