Episode 563 – Death by powerpoint

This week, Glynn is subjecting his club-talk-patrons to an eye-watering 293 images in 60 minutes! Some kind of world record, I’m sure!
Another David DuChemin post has resonated with Glynn. This time about how does an image FEEL?
Would you ever pay to photograph someone from a different culture from yours, whilst you were traveling? Glynn sometimes does… and does not.
He’s also been playing with the funky-looking Hobo lights.

And I’ve been shooting some more portraits for my colleagues at the ABC. A fairly simple 2 light setup. One on a stand behind the subject, lighting the wall (aiming for a white, or close-to-white background), plus one light in a softbox at 45 degrees to camera left.

Want to help keep the lights on for Shutters Inc?
We’d really appreciate it if you did!

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
